KYLE BUSCH MOTORSPORTS: { 1 }. - A season after Jones brought Kyle Busch Motorsports its first Truck Series championship, the three-truck team owned by 2015 Sprint Cup champ Kyle Busch comes back in 2016 fully loaded. Dirt track wunderkind Christopher Bell, 20, has been transitioning to asphalt the last two years and will drive the No. 4 KBM Toyota full-time in the series. Jerry Baxter will serve as Bell's crew chief."There's no reason I shouldn't be able to run up front and compete for wins on a consistent basis," Bell says. Joing Bell, fresh from his championship-winning run in the K&N Pro Series East, is 17-year-old William Byron.

WITH ERICK JONES 1.  zooming into the Truck Series and swooping off with the championship and a full-time Xfinity Series ride, there's no shortage of young drivers hoping to take the same path to NASCAR stardom. Standing in their way, however, is a stout lineup of veteran drivers who, feeling bruised after Jones, on their watch no less, became the youngest champion in series history, look to re-establish their dominance in NASCAR's No. 3 series. Wallace Puts No. 34 In Victory Lane Once More DRIVING A NO. 34 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota painted and numbered as a tribute to future NASCAR Hall Famer Wendell Scott, polesitter Darrell Wallace Jr. held off Timothy Peters to win the Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. Wallace grabbed the lead from Johnny Sauter in heavy traffic on lap 188 of 200, moments before a record 11th caution slowed the race.  2 - Wallace then pulled away after a restart with six laps left and beat Peters had bumped Sauter out of the way in the closing laps, also opening the door for reigning series champion Matt Crafton,  who came home third and extended his series lead to 18 points over fifth-place finisher Ryan Blaney. IN CHARGE #  1  > Peters Packs A Wallop At Talladega HOLDING OFF ALL challengers in a race that went four-wide on the final two laps, Timothy Peters won the Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. Peters took win 0.143 second ahead of Tayler Malsam. Spencer Gallagher ran third, followed by pole-sitter Tyler Reddick and Ryan Blaney. The victory was Peters first of the season, his first at Tallaadega and the eighth of his career. After ducking onto the apron to ensure a strong flow of fuel to the engine, Peters led the field to a green-white-checkered-flag finish on lap 94 of 95. With a strong push from Malsam, Peters hugged the inside line into Turn 1 with Blaney to his outside.
